Accountancy firm Mercer and Hole has appointed Dominic Dumville as a corporate advisory partner.
Dumville, a licenced insolvency practitioner, qualified accountant and corporate finance professional, joins the firm from Haslers.
He will be working out of the firm’s St Albans and Rickmansworth offices, alongside other partners in corporate advisory to “protect, maintain and create value for struggling businesses”.
Dumville said he will concentrate on supporting distressed businesses, and the firm added his background “equips him with the ability to fully appreciate and understand the bigger picture”.
Corporate advisory partner, Steve Smith, said: “Within the role of a corporate restructuring professional, developing a thorough understanding of the business in financial difficulty is fundamental.
“Dominic’s experience provides him with excellent technical skills and an insight, which will, I am certain, be a real asset to the clients he works with.”
Dominic’s appointment takes Mercer and Hole to a 25 partner firm, with a team of over 200. The firm has four UK offices and global reach through its founder membership of The International Accounting Group (TIAG), part of TAG Alliances.
