Independent accountancy and business advisory firm, Smailes Goldie Group, Hull, has welcomed eight new recruits, including seven trainees who are joining its training programme.

The firm has appointed George Cooper, Gemma Edwards and Allysa Smith as audit and accounts Trainees. Harry Giles joins an audits and accounts and tax trainee, Kieron Juler also  as a tax trainee, and Lea Field and Lottie Jackson join as accounts trainees.

Meanwhile, Jayne Hussey joins the firm as a personal tax supervisor.

Luke Taylor, partner at Smailes Goldie Group, said:  “We are delighted to welcome all eight recruits. Our trainees have the opportunity to make a difference to our clients and work their way up to the very highest levels of our firm.”
