Quantuma appoints new managing director

Quantuma has appointed restructuring specialist Alex Jarvis as a Southampton-based managing director in its restructuring and insolvency team, in a move that forms part of its ongoing expansion.

Jarvis steps into his new role as a qualified chartered accountant and insolvency practitioner who specialises in restructuring and insolvency matters and brings extensive experience in all areas of restructuring and formal insolvency support.

Based in the Southampton office, he will provide advice to businesses across the South Coast and beyond.

The firm said Jarvis is accustomed to large, intricate restructuring and formal insolvency issues, including situations with cross-border and contentious components.

He has worked several high-profile engagements within various industries including healthcare, aviation, energy and utilities, professional services and investment and commodity arbitrage.

Jarvis joins Quantuma from a global professional services firm and with vast overseas experience including in the UK, US, Europe, the Channel Islands and the Eastern Caribbean.

This move follows the recent appointment of managing director Chris Lewis, along with director Sarah Jarvie who joined the firm’s restructuring and insolvency team last year.
