Wbg appoints new insolvency director in Glasgow

Accountancy firm Wbg has announced the appointment of Gordon McIntyre as insolvency director in its Glasgow office.

News of the appointment comes as the firm continues to expand its restructuring services. 

McIntyre, who has more than 30 years of experience in insolvency and restructuring, is a chartered certified accountant and licensed insolvency practitioner. His background includes work across sectors such as manufacturing, property, professional services and construction.

He has advised boards, creditors and other stakeholders on diligence reviews and restructuring options, and specialises in members voluntary liquidations.

McIntyre said: “I’m delighted to be appointed as insolvency director within Wbg’s burgeoning business recovery and insolvency team to enhance our already comprehensive range of specialist services to a broad range of individuals and corporate clients spanning all industrial sectors.”
