The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has partnered with the Advisory Board Centre to help finance professionals expand their influence in advisory roles.
Launched in September, the collaboration will provide ACCA members with access to the Advisory Board Centre’s research and frameworks for effective advisory boards, alongside specialised learning, practical tools and global networking opportunities.
The aim is to enhance members’ readiness for advisory positions and increase their impact in organisations and communities worldwide.
The new hub will offer curated content, thought leadership and training resources for members looking to diversify their careers into advisory work.
The partnership reflects ACCA’s strategy to broaden the opportunities available to its members, while advancing the Advisory Board Centre’s mission to raise global standards in advisory practice.
Lucia Real Martin, executive director – relationships at ACCA, said: “Finance professionals are trusted partners to business, and many are increasingly taking on advisory roles that shape the future of organisations. Our partnership with the Advisory Board Centre provides members with practical tools and connections to deepen their impact, and to contribute to sustainable value creation at a strategic level.”
Udo Doring, chief executive and executive director at the Advisory Board Centre, added: “The Advisory Board Centre is delighted to partner with ACCA to empower finance professionals globally. With their unique expertise, accountants can play a pivotal role in advisory boards – helping organisations navigate complexity, innovate, and grow responsibly.”
