Revolut Group has appointed EY as its global auditor following a formal audit tender process, effective for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.
The fintech group had decided to launch a formal audit tender process for the 2026 audit to coincide with the rotation of its current audit partner, BDO.
The competitive audit tender process was led by Revolut Group’s audit committee, which assessed candidates against a range of criteria, including global coverage, deep financial services expertise, and digital audit capabilities.
The committee presented a formal recommendation to the board of directors, in line with the Financial Reporting Council (FRC’s) practice note on audit tendering best practice.
EY’s appointment will be subject to shareholder approval.
The current auditor, BDO, will continue in office through the completion of its audit services for the fiscal year ending 31 December 2025.
Victor Stinga, CFO at Revolut, said: “We’d like to extend our thanks to the entire BDO team for their valued partnership and contributions over the past seven years, supporting the business through a significant period of transformation and growth.
“We are pleased to welcome EY as our new auditor for the 2026 financial year and look forward to a successful and collaborative partnership.”
