Lincoln-based accountancy firm Wright Vigar has announced the promotions of two long-serving staff members, Louise Lane and Darren Ashley, to senior leadership roles.
Lane has been named tax director after more than two decades with the firm. Having joined in 2004, she has specialised in cryptoasset taxation and helped establish the firm’s dedicated team in the area.
She has also collaborated with software provider Recap.io, authored the UK Tax Guide for Individuals, and taken part in HM Revenue and Customs and Treasury roundtables on crypto tax policy.
Lane said: “It’s been a privilege to grow alongside Wright Vigar and to help shape our approach to emerging areas like crypto taxation. I’m excited about what the future holds for our clients and our team.”
Meanwhile, Ashley, who is based at Wright Vigar’s Gainsborough office, has been promoted to director. He joined the firm in 2005 and works with clients in the property, construction and family business sectors.
Ashley added: “Being promoted to director is a real honour. I’ve always valued the relationships we build with our clients and the trust they place in us. I look forward to continuing to support businesses in Gainsborough and beyond.”
