Henderson Loggie has joined the Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland to help strengthen the firm’s cyber resilience amid growing digital threats to the professional services sector.
The move will give the Scottish firm direct access to national cyber experts, real-time threat intelligence, and incident response support, supporting its wider strategy to “embed digital resilience” across its operations and advisory services.
The Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland works with businesses, public sector organisations and academia to improve cyber security and fraud awareness nationwide.
By joining the Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland, Henderson Loggie is among the initial mid-sized accountancy firms in Scotland to establish this type of partnership focused on cyber accountability.
The firm’s new membership comes with a suite of benefits aimed at strengthening internal cyber practices, including CPD-accredited training for non-technical staff on topics such as cyber hygiene, scam detection, and personal data safety. It also grants rapid-response support in the event of a cyber incident.
Henderson Loggie’s chief technology officer, Melissa Fogwill, described the move as “a significant advancement in safeguarding trust” in an increasingly complex digital environment.
She said: “Cybersecurity extends beyond IT. This initiative gives us the tools to better protect our systems, our people, and the clients who rely on us. As threats evolve, so must we. This partnership ensures we remain agile, informed, and ready to respond.”
