PKF Littlejohn has launched a restructuring practice in Manchester, appointing three new partners as it expands its presence in the North West.
The new team will support businesses, lenders and investors with financial restructuring, formal insolvency processes and strategic transformation. It forms part of the firm’s broader push to build a recognised practice in the region.
Paul Smith, Stephen Clancy and Paul Reeves have joined to lead the practice. All three have spent their careers in the North West and bring extensive experience in corporate restructuring.
Smith is a transformation specialist and Fellow of the Institute for Turnaround. He has advised mid-market businesses on financial and operational change, and held senior roles across the advisory and financial services sectors.
Meanwhile, Clancy is an insolvency practitioner with more than 30 years of experience. His previous work includes the restructure of a major hospitality group and the wind-down of a national home improvement chain.
In addition, Reeves is a chartered surveyor and licensed insolvency practitioner, with over 25 years in the UK restructuring market. He is noted for his commercial and business development expertise.
Paul Williams, restructuring partner at PKF Littlejohn, said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul, Stephen and Paul to the team. They bring exceptional experience, local knowledge, trusted relationships, and a proven ability to deliver results for clients.
“This expansion is a key step in our strategic growth and enables us to offer even greater value to clients.”
PKF Littlejohn opened its Manchester office in 2023. The city is the UK’s second-largest centre for restructuring services after London.
