Accountancy, tax, and advisory firm Bishop Fleming has announced its latest round of promotions as the firm continues to grow across the West Midlands and South West.
The firm appointed Dan Phillips as its new audit director and promoted nearly 30 individuals to senior manager, manager, and assistant manager positions across its four service lines, along with a larger group of junior-level promotions.
These promotions reflect Bishop Fleming’s sustained momentum and strategic investment in talent following another year of double-digit revenue growth, surpassing £45.8m in 2024.
The promotions also come off the back of a series of successes, including its Great Place To Work recertification and winning all four awards that it was shortlisted for at the Accounting Excellence Awards, including Large Accounting Firm of the Year 2024, Large Employer of the Year, Best Client Service and Pride – ESG award for its responsible business journey.
The firm’s Apprentice Programme was also rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
Phillips said: “I am thrilled to progress into a director role at such an exciting time, as the firm continues to invest in its ambitious growth strategy. Since joining from PwC three years ago, Bishop Fleming has consistently supported my development and that of my colleagues.
“This milestone is a testament to the firm’s commitment to nurturing and advancing talent. I look forward to continuing to support our clients and contribute to the firm’s ongoing success.”
Joe Scaife, head of audit, added: “On behalf of our partnership, I congratulate Dan on his promotion to audit director as well as all the other promotions across our large audit team.
“We have seen audit revenues increase by at least 23% in each of the last three years. With another strong year underway, the firm is on track for similar results, further solidifying our position as one of the region’s leading audit providers. This round of promotions will support that ongoing growth drive.”
