HaysMac appoints acting head of risk assurance and advisory services

HaysMac has announced the appointment of Per-Olof Ahlstrom as its acting head of risk assurance and advisory services, as it continues to expand its risk advisory division. 

Ahlstrom joins with over 25 years of experience in senior roles across industry and professional services, having spent the last 10 years at PwC UK. 

The appointment comes as organisations grapple with the increasingly complex risk landscape. Boards, audit and risk committees, senior management and assurance professionals are “actively” seeking to understand and navigate emerging risks such as AI, cloud and digital transformation, geopolitical uncertainty, supply chain and security risks. 

As a result, Ahlstrom’s experience in working with large, medium-size and fast-growing UK and international companies aligns perfectly with HaysMac’s sector and market focus, which spans equity capital markets, hospitality, media, marketing and advertising, technology, fintech and retail & ecommerce.
