Accounting and advisory firm Saffery LLP has expanded its partnership with the promotion of five directors to partner, taking effect from 1 April.
Based in London, in the firm’s Film and TV Team, Stephen Lee advises clients on all aspects of statutory reporting, financing, and tax compliance, with specific expertise in accessing creative sector tax reliefs.
Lee works with a range of clients, including major film studios, television broadcasters, animation studios, video game developers, and independent production companies. His portfolio includes numerous high-profile projects for film and television.
Also based in London, Tom Alun-Jones advises a range of commercial clients, including owner-managed and international businesses across multiple sectors. His portfolio spans professional practices – including FCA-regulated entities and LLPs – as well as fast-growing, entrepreneurial businesses.
Alun-Jones is a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser and has been at the firm since 2014 when he joined as a graduate. His key areas of expertise include providing audit, assurance, and corporate/partnership tax compliance services to professional practice and financial services firms.
Meanwhile, the third director promoted to the role of partner is Suzanna Ingham. Based in Manchester, Ingham is a tax specialist with broad experience across corporate taxes, advising clients on the availability of incentives such as capital allowances, R&D tax credits, and the Patent Box regime.
She advises owner-managed businesses and large corporates at all stages of their business lifecycle, providing strategic tax advice tailored to their unique needs. She has significant experience of supporting businesses with their growth strategies, both via transactions (buy-side and sell-side) as well as international expansion.
Based in Bristol, Nick Hart is a VAT specialist and a member of the national VAT Advisory Team, advising clients on complex and high-value land and property transactions, as well as helping businesses maximise VAT efficiencies within their international supply chains.

Lastly, Rick Dunkley, based in Leeds, specialises in audit and financial reporting, advising owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, and medium-to-large corporates across Yorkshire. ACA qualified, Dunkley has extensive experience working with international clients, including those reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP.
His clients span recruitment, construction, manufacturing, and financial services. With a focus on exceptional client service, he delivers audits for UK and international groups, supports AIM-listed companies on IFRS technical issues. He joined Saffery in 2022 after qualifying with RSM.
