Menzies has unveiled plans to relocate its flagship headquarters to Bank in London, after more than 50 years in Woking, Surrey.

The news comes as the group reported a 16% organic growth over the past two years and is set to reach £85m in revenue this financial year, doubling its earnings from five years ago.

The new office at 95 Gresham Street, situated in London’s financial district, has been acquired to support the addition of nearly 100 new employees and cater to a growing global client base.

To commemorate the relocation, Gregory Jones KC, City of London sheriff cut the ceremonial ribbon.

Simon Massey, managing partner at Menzies LLP, said: “The business has undergone huge growth in the last few years, and this move represents a significant milestone in our journey.

“The new space enables us to attract and develop the best talent and teams in the business as we continue our mission to provide excellence in work and service to a global client base, while retaining a strong regional presence.”

Jones KC added: “The promotion of the financial, legal, margarine and professional services is at the heart of what we do as the Corporation of London.

“Companies like Menzies with a long history of success in financial and professional are essential to what powers the City. We are delighted to welcome Menzies to their new home, as the firm continues to positively impact a myriad of businesses across the country and further afield.”
