Lovewell Blake has announced the promotion of Georgia Camilleri as the new manager of its Bury St Edmunds office.

Camilleri, who joined the firm in 2004, qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 2009. She has been based at Lovewell Blake’s Bury St Edmunds office since it opened in 2012.

Since then, the Hillside Business Park office has grown to 30 members of staff, which includes specialists from elsewhere in the firm ‘hot-desking’ at the office on a frequent basis.

Prior to her promotion, Camilleri worked in the firm’s business services department and managed a varied portfolio that included accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies as well as bookkeeping, VAT returns and general business advice

Simon Watson, senior partner at Lovewell Blake, said: “I am delighted to announce this new promotion at our Bury St Edmunds office.

“As a firm we have a great reputation for developing new talent, and Georgia’s career progression within Lovewell Blake is a good example of how we develop and nurture our people and provide clear career progression opportunities.”
