BDO has appointed Hannah Routh as its head of Sustainability and ESG.
In her new role, Routh will lead BDO’s Sustainability and ESG services practice, building and growing the firm’s suite of client advisory offerings which currently includes ESG reporting and assurance, climate and carbon advisory, supply chain due diligence and sustainable finance.
She joins BDO from Deloitte where initially she led the Sustainability and Climate Change Advisory business for the Asia Pacific region before returning to the UK in 2020 to take on a similar role.
Throughout her 28-year career Routh has focussed on sustainability and climate, and has held a variety of roles in Europe, Southern Africa and Asia.
She brings 12 years of experience building and leading sustainability and climate businesses in the Big4.
