The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) has appointed Ruth Brockbank as finance director and Graham Jones as interim head of people and culture.
Brockbank brings significant finance leadership experience to CIPFA, including roles as CFO of the London Transport Museum.
She spent five years at the National Audit Office, working on public sector audits and value for money studies across HM Treasury, the United Nations, and DCMS charities.
Jones joins CIPFA with extensive experience in leading organisational change and HR transformation.
He has worked at board level across sectors including not-for-profit, financial services, and property, delivering projects in M&A, leadership development, and culture change.
Owen Mapley, CIPFA CEO, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Ruth and Graham to the CIPFA team. They will strengthen our leadership at a key time for CIPFA when we continue to grow the organisation and set a clear strategic vision – not only for CIPFA but for the public sector as a whole.
