Thompson Wright Chartered Accountants has advised the directors of Impulse Embedded Limited through the process of its company sale to the Acal BFi Group.

Established in 1993, Impulse Embedded Limited is a provider of industrial computing, systems and solutions based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Meanwhile, Acal BFi specialise in designing and supplying custom solutions to its thousands of customers across Europe, from products such as embedded systems, power supplies and imaging cameras across a broad range of sectors including communications and manufacturing.

The team at Thompson Wright led by associate director Dan Oakes, and director Jessica Swinton, have been long-term advisors to Impulse Embedded Limited and successfully provided strategic tax advice and assistance on the company sale.

Swinton said: “We are delighted to have assisted the shareholders of Impulse Embedded Limited with this transaction which represents a huge step in their growth and has resulted in not only a positive outcome for the company, but also for the shareholders.
