RSM UK appoints risk assurance director

RSM UK has appointed Paul Bennett as a risk assurance director in the firm’s consulting team. 

Bennett brings over 18 years of experience working with large corporates and owner managed businesses, with particular focus on helping UK and international businesses to understand, manage and govern risk to create value. 

He joins RSM from a role in industry at TalkTalk where he led the audit and risk team. Prior to that he has worked at MBNA, JTI and PwC leading on internal audits. 

He has worked across many industries, specialising in TMT financial services and consumer, delivering strategic advice to allow each organisation to succeed through effective management of financial risk and compliance. 

At RSM, he will focus on risk assurance and internal control advisory in the corporate space, building upon the firm’s footprint in this area and further enhancing the team. 

Regarding his appointment, Bennett said: “It’s an exciting time to join RSM. We are investing to build capability across the team to enhance our consulting offering.
