Dext, the bookkeeping automation platform provider, has announced the appointment of Grant Picknell as its new general manager for its UK and Ireland Business.
Picknell will now lead the company’s drive towards growth and further success in the UK. Picknell is a seasoned business leader with over 25 years of experience in driving sales and leading teams within the technology industry, with a significant focus on the accounting software sector.
Prior to joining Dext, his most recent role was VP of Sales at IRIS Software Group, following his tenure at Sage as VP of the Accountant Segment. He also played a pivotal role in the successful launches of QuickBooks in the UK and Canada.
Dext said his appointment brings “deep expertise” in software solutions tailored to accountants. He joins the business during a period of rapid commercial growth for Dext, with CEO, Sabby Gill, spearheading the expansion of its global operations within the Middle East, South Africa and wider APAC.
This is a key moment for Dext as the business has recently announced its plans to combine three products into a single unified bookkeeping automation platform. Over a phased period, Dext is combining the features from Dext Prepare, Dext Precision and Dext Commerce to create one seamless user experience.
