Paddock Capital, a commercial finance brokerage specialising in helping accountants and business advisers source and secure the right funding solutions for their clients, has officially been launched.
Founded by Alex Austin, Paddock Capital benefits from his experience and track record in small business finance. He began his career as a communications consultant, contributing to the successful UK launch of Revolut.
Austin transitioned into the finance sector when he joined Funding Circle where he spent almost five years in the lenders broker team.
This led him to the role of senior business development manager before he moved on to lead the referral partnerships team, where he played a role in forging key partnerships and driving growth in the channel.
With a focus on personalised service and tailored financial solutions, Paddock Capital aims to simplify commercial finance for small businesses across the UK.
Austin said: “After years of working closely with small businesses and understanding their unique financial challenges, I realised that there was a significant gap in the market for a boutique brokerage that truly understands the needs of accountants and their clients.
