Rivers joins the firm from Barclays Wealth Management and Private Bank where she worked as a wealth planner advising high net worth and ultra high net worth clients on their financial planning needs such as inheritance tax planning, tax efficient investing, pensions and retirement planning and financial protection.
Prior to that, she was advising at Saunderson House (part of Rathbones Group) focusing on clients who were partners of the Big 4 accountancy firms.
Rivers will be based at Evelyn Partners’ office at Onslow House, in the heart of the city, which offers clients a range of financial and professional services including financial planning, investment management, and tax advice from highly qualified experts.
Mark Wilkins, managing partner in Evelyn Partners’ Guildford office, said: “We are seeing increased demand for our financial planning services from across Surrey and I’m delighted that Emma is coming on board to help support our ambitious growth plans.
“Emma brings valuable industry experience and I’m confident she’ll be a great asset to our already experienced team in Guildford. I’m looking forward to working closely with Emma as we continue with our strategy of providing great financial advice to even more clients in the region.”
