GS Verde Group has been ranked the most active M&A advisors in Wales for both legal and financial categories in the Experian Market IQ M&A Report Q1 2024.

The ranking results cement the group’s position as “leading” dealmakers, having topped the same rankings in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

The latest ranking, for Quarter 1 2024, follows a record-breaking year in 2023 and more is expected to follow with a strong pipeline of deals for the rest of 2024.

Following a strong 2023, securing the top spot in Experian’s Market IQ legal adviser and financial categories highlights a “remarkable achievement” for the company as it worked on seven deals in both areas in Q1. The actual number of deals completed in the quarter far exceeds this number, with several deals being undisclosed and many others completed in other locations around the UK.

GS Verde Group topped the likes of Harrison Clark Rickerbys, Freeths and Gateleys who also made the top 5 ranking in the legal advisor category, along with Azets, K3 Capital Group, RSM and Dains Corporate Finance who featured in the top five Financial Adviser category ranking.
