BDO has announced the appointment of two new partner hires, bolstering its advisory offerings.

Claire Frangou joins BDO as an M&A partner in the firm’s North corporate finance team, having built up over 25 years of experience as a corporate financier.

In her new roles, she will work closely with owner-managed and private equity-backed businesses to support their continued growth and development. She will be based in the firm’s Manchester office and joins from KPMG.

Zsolt Szelecki will be based in BDO’s London office and joins as partner and head of people advisory service in the firm’s digital, risk and advisory service (DRAS) team.

Szelecki will support businesses with culture and organisational transformation projects, and has significant experience in talent management, organisational effectiveness and leadership team alignment.

Szelecki joins the firm from a non-executive director position having previously had a unique mix of corporate, professional services and entrepreneurial roles.

Paul Eagland, managing partner at BDO, said: “Claire and Zsolt’s appointments are a key part of our ongoing investment in our advisory capabilities and offerings. Our partners provide us with a strong foundation on which we build our business and attract talented individuals to provide the services our client base is looking for.

“Both Claire and Zsolt’s experience and expertise, and their desire to see their respective teams succeed, make them a fantastic fit with our culture.”
