Inkjet printing technology group Xaar has announced the appointment of PKF Littlejohn LLP as its new auditor for the financial year ending 31 December 2023.

The news comes after the group carried out a formal and competitive tender process, led by the group’s Audit Committee.

PKF Littlejohn’s re-appointment as auditor for the subsequent financial year will be formally proposed to shareholders at the company’s next Annual General Meeting in 2024.

The company has also reported that Ernst and Young LLP has ceased to be its auditor.

EY has confirmed to the company that there are no matters connected with its ceasing to hold office that need to be brought to the attention of the members or creditors of the company for the purposes of section 519 of the Companies Act 2006.

Xaar said: “The board would like to thank Ernst and Young for its professional service to the Company throughout its tenure in office.”
