Buzzacott has advised EdAid on its acquisition of Northwest Education and Training Limited (NWEAT UK) for an undisclosed fee.

The firm stated that it provided financial and tax due diligence services to help reduce the risks associated with the transaction as well as transaction advisory services to help the deal get over the line.

The Buzzacott financial due diligence team included Alex Judd, partner head of Transaction Services, George Thresh, senior manager and Megan Leonard-Moran Executive.

The tax due diligence team included Tony Dillow, director and Jessica Beere senior manager.

EdAid is an FCA-authorised platform that partners with educators to drive student enrolment, increase retention and diversify revenue.

NWEAT UK is an established leading training provider specialising across sectors within manufacturing, logistics, insurance, finance, housing, healthcare and retail & construction.
