UHY Hacker Young Manchester has announced the promotion of three senior team members, partner Ryan Wear, staff partner Zoe Duffy, and partner Chris Oxley.
Wear, who has 18 years of experience in the industry, has been promoted to head of audit, where he is overseeing a team of over 60 professionals, while Oxley, who has 15 years of accounting experience, has been named head of accounts and business advisory.
Meanwhile, Duffy has been promoted to head of talent and will be responsible for the recruitment and development of the firm’s workforce. She has been at the firm since 1996 when she first started as a trainee accountant.
According to the firm, these promotions reflect its commitment to doubling its size within the next five years and are “a testament to the consistent strong performance of the company”.

Ryan taking over as head of audit will allow him to instil some of the best practice processes from his Big Four days, as well as work with the management team to further grow the department.
