DJH Mitten Clarke, has relocated its Manchester office to the sixth floor of city centre St George’s House, on Peter Street.

The move comes following two years of solid growth in the North West, following the acquisition of Lloyd Piggott.

The accountancy group, which has headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent, has completed a £200,000 refurbishment project for the Manchester location, creating 40-plus seats.

Scott Heath, CEO, said: “The environment our team works in is extremely important. Historically as a Group, we’ve always prioritised investing in the space and technology of our offices, with this developing significantly since Covid. The expectation on office space has changed dramatically, so it was key that we made sure the needs of our team were met and then some.

“We’ve introduced sound-proofed pods which are perfect for Zoom meetings and 1-2-1s, whilst still feeling like part of the office, due to the glass windows and doors. The design here in Manchester has the same feel to our other offices, providing a great light and contemporary break-away space for lunch, team socials and client events.”

Sue Redmond, executive director and leader of the Manchester office, added: “We now have a really welcoming space for everybody who walks through the door. We’ve already had really positive feedback from clients, and we’re really proud to have created a space that fits with the expectations of a city centre office.”

The refurb follows the acquisition of Leeds based accountancy firm Novis and Co, who recently took on the DJH Mitten Clarke name.
