Bennettbrooks has appointed George Lovell and Graham Bevan as directors to its senior leadership team as part of a strategy to expand its specialist tax and estate offerings.

Lovell joins as tax director with over 30 years of experience advising owner-managed businesses and large corporations. 

His expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, demergers, property tax, and employee share schemes.

Bevan has been appointed as technical director within the trust and estates team. A qualified Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) professional and former chairman of STEP Liverpool, Bevan previously served on the North West STEP committee. 

He will focus on trust and estate administration and specialist tax planning.

The directors will work across the firm’s seven North West and North Wales locations, which include its Northwich headquarters and offices in Altrincham, Chester, Leek, Llandudno, Macclesfield, and Southport. 

The firm, which was founded in 1991, currently employs approximately 180 staff.

Managing director George Wood said: “We are delighted to welcome George and Graham to Bennettbrooks. They both bring valuable experience and specialist knowledge to their teams.

“Their appointments reflect the demand for quality tax advice and our continuing plans for sustainable growth, developing our people and supporting clients throughout their business journey.”
