North West accountants practise Bennettbrooks has announced its expansion in Cheshire and Greater Manchester with the acquisition of Altrincham-based MBL (Business and Tax Advisers).

As an accounting practice offering services in accountancy, tax, forensic accounting, audit, payroll and IT Bennettbrooks operate from headquarters in Northwich and existing offices in Chester, Cheadle, Macclesfield, Leek, Southport and Llandudno and employ 180 staff across the North West.

MBL was set up in 2002 by Mike Bulcock and the team supports clients across Greater Manchester and the wider area.

MBL’s employees are being retained through the acquisition which will ensure continuity of service for their “valued” clients as well as offering the benefits of additional expertise and resources from the team at Bennettbrooks.
