Northern Accountants has announced the appointment of Bethany Lunt as its new marketing manager, adding a new in-house role as the firm continues to grow its operations.
Lunt has joined the Leeds-based firm after five years working agency-side, most recently at PR agency Yasper. Her experience includes working with B2B business organisations across finance, technology, property and the public sector, with a focus on media relations and reputation management.
In her new role, Lunt will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the firm’s marketing strategy, with an emphasis on sustainable growth, client retention and brand recognition.
Phill Ellerby, founder and managing director of Northern Accountants, said: “Over the last couple of years we’ve recognised the importance of bringing specialist expertise into the business to help us grow further. We’ve strengthened our leadership team, broadened our advisory capability, and continued to invest in the development of our people.
“As we continue to grow, we want to communicate in a way that reflects who we are and the service standards we’re striving for, and Beth will play a key role in helping us do that.”
Lunt added: “Northern Accountants presented an opportunity for me to build on my generalist marketing skillset whilst also enabling me to further develop my content specialism within professional services.
“My priority is to build on the work that’s already been done and help the firm communicate clearly and consistently as it continues to grow.”
The appointment comes as Northern Accountants continues to recruit across the business, with vacancies currently open for two portfolio leads in its Hull and Leeds offices, as well as a bookkeeping manager and a client experience coordinator.
The firm has also recently announced the appointment of an AI specialist, alongside further investment in process transformation and colleague development.
