RSM has cemented its presence in the Humber by signing a new 10-year lease and completing an eight-week major refurbishment of its Humber Quays offices in Hull.

Based in its Hull premises for the last 17 years, the firm has refurbished its office accommodation to provide a “sustainable and dynamic work environment” aligned to RSM’s hybrid working capability and to facilitate its future growth plans.

The accountancy firm occupies the building alongside other businesses in the energy and consumer sectors.

The RSM team in Hull has seen “significant” growth in recent years, investing in its people and new trainees to support clients across the Humber, the UK and internationally.

Andy Capes, office managing partner in RSM’s Hull office, said: “Our office refurbishment and new 10-year lease demonstrates RSM’s commitment to Hull and the Humber, the expansion of our business and our investment in the local and UK economy

“Working in conjunction with our landlord J R Rix and Sons, our new open plan office space is modern, high tech and supports our hybrid working model, encouraging better collaboration between our people and the range of local, national and international clients we advise.”

He added: “As the only global accountancy firm with an office in Hull, we recognise our responsibility to support local businesses which are essential to regional and UK economic growth. We’re also continuing to invest in providing accessible career opportunities for local talent across our network of UK offices, so it was important we provided our staff with a great space conducive to their development and building a network, enabling them to thrive in their careers.”
