Gerald Edelman has announced that its corporate finance team has scooped three awards at the South East Dealmakers awards.
After being nominated for nine awards the team took home Deal of the Year (£40m+), Corporate Finance Advisory Team of the Year and Nick Wallis, partner in the corporate finance team, was awarded Dealmaker of the Year.
The team has 24 members and advised on over 30 successful transactions in 2024, achieving revenue growth of over 150%, and handling an aggregate deal value exceeding £350m.
Wallis said: “This achievement is a reflection of the incredible talent within our team. Winning across both team and individual categories demonstrates not our collective strength. Winning Dealmaker of the year was an incredible honour, and winning Deal of the Year > £40m was also a fantastic achievement.
“However, the award I am most proud of is the corporate finance advisory Team of the Year. The team is phenomenal, and this is testament to their brilliant work ethic and talent, and I am so proud! Congratulations to all the winners. We’re now looking forward to representing the South East region at the national awards next year.”
The firm stated that this success sets a “strong precedent” for another record-breaking year, with the team already successfully closing three major transactions in 2025.
