Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has recently bolstered its partner offering with the appointment of two new partners.   

Jamie Smith joins the firm as partner in the financial services audit team and will lead the financial services audit practice in Bristol

Smith joins from PwC and brings almost 20 years of experience of providing audit and associated assurance services to businesses across the financial services sector.    

Omar Ali also joins the firm as a partner in the audit team. He has significant experience of leading national and international teams to deliver on large audits within the technology sector. He is joining from KPMG and will be based in BDO’s London office.
