TC Group has announced the completion of a merger with Rochester-based accountancy practice Crossley Group.

Crossley Group was established in Rochester, Medway in 1995, and the Crossley name is said to be “recognised and trusted” throughout Medway.

Crossley brings with them three partners and over 100 staff, many qualified in Accountancy or Tax. The firm provides specialist services across a variety of sectors, including Third Sector, Property and Lettings and Commercial.

Following the merger, clients of Crossley Group will now have access to the range of services provided by TC Group.

Crossley Group partner, Trevor Rose, said: “Joining forces with TC Group represents a pivotal development for us. This merger enhances our capabilities and allows us to offer a broader range of services to our clients, backed by the extensive resources and network of TC Group. I am proud, that, after 28 years of growth, we are taking this important next step with our new partners, which will benefit our clients and staff team.”

TC Group’s head of Partner Services, Mark Adams, added: “Crossley Group is a trusted and highly regarded firm of business advisors and accountants who provide an outstanding service to their clients.

“By joining TC Group, they give another major boost to our representation across the country as a whole, and in our ability to service clients across the south-east of England. Crossley Group’s addition to TC Group represents, once again, our strategy of joining forces with ambitious firms that wish to merge and grow. We are also very grateful to WJP Brokerage Limited, who recognised the potential synergy between us and made the initial introduction.”
