Kreston Reeves has published its B Corp and environment, social and governance (ESG) impact reports on the firm’s first anniversary of achieving B Corp certification.
During the past 12 months, as well as receiving the certification, the firm maintained its carbon neutral status, achieved a top 100 apprenticeship employer status, introduced term-time only contracts, introduced “top tier” maternity and adoption leave policies, reduced its gender pay gap and scored 8.2 out of 10 in its people engagement survey.
Additionally, the firm said it continues to align activities to support four United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); good health and wellbeing (SDG3), quality education (SDG4), reducing inequalities (SDG10) and climate action (SDG13).
The firm’s progress was recognised at the annual Accounting Excellence Awards, winning the inaugural ‘Pride Award – ESG’.
Jennifer Williamson, Culture and Values partner at Kreston Reeves, said: “Kreston Reeves has a strong purpose to guide our clients, colleagues, and communities to a brighter future. Our vision is to make a difference and lead the way as a sustainable and socially focused adviser, a key part of working towards that is transparency in our actions. The publication of our B Corp and ESG impact reports is a critical part of that commitment.
“These reports set out what the firm has achieved over the past 12 months and the targets we aim to achieve over the next year. We recognise that our commitment to our people, clients, planet and the communities where we live and work is a continuous journey.”
