GS Verde Group, a multidiscipline corporate advisory firm, has appointed Chelsea Fellows as a senior tax manager in its specialist tax team.
This move follows the recent appointment of tax director, Emma Jones.
Fellows joins GS Verde Group from DAC Beachcroft. The firm said she adds expertise and specialist knowledge, bringing 13 years of experience as a tax specialist, adding that her appointment further strengthens a key strategic team.
Joel Dunning, head of GS Verde Tax & accountants, said: “We are excited to welcome Chelsea on board and expand our tax team. The GS Verde Group disciplines have been established to provide a full wrap around service to our clients on corporate transactions and growth strategies. The ability to deliver tax advice at the outset of a deal, or at the deal planning stage, is a key element of providing full advice to clients when delivering their aims.”
Fellows added: “I am thrilled to be joining GS Verde Group and the specialist tax team. It’s been an exciting start to 2024 for the company and I’m looking forward to coming on board at such a crucial time, helping to develop the services offered by the team and strengthening how we support clients through their M&A requirements.”
GS Verde Group’s tax team offers specialist tax advice and services alongside accountancy, corporate finance, and legal services. The team provides tax essentials to all businesses, and will also deliver bespoke support to clients through all areas of M&A, as well as tax compliance, R&D relief, capital allowances, enterprise schemes and more.
Fellows’ appointment comes during a “significant” year for GS Verde Group after its admission to the JP Jenkins share-dealing platform with a £9m post-money valuation in January.
