FRP has announced it has appointed Faye Hall as a partner in its Forensic Services team.

Hall will be based in its London office and support clients across the city. The firm said she will also work closely with its Bristol team to cover the South West market. She has more than 25 years’ experience in the field, most recently as a partner and head of Private Client Disputes at Evelyn Partners.

FRP said its Forensic Services team has expanded considerably in recent times in regard to both the provision of dispute and investigation services. The team has also been ranked in the international legal directory Chambers and Partners Litigation Support Guide for the past five years.

A member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Expert Witness Institute, Hall has particular expertise in providing financial remedies for divorce proceedings, contentious trust matters and commercial disputes, with experience in the UK and offshore jurisdictions including China, Africa, Thailand, Bermuda and the US.

She regularly provides training to lawyers on valuing business assets for private clients and commercial disputes, and regularly speaks at conferences to provide an accountancy perspective for legal practitioners.

Hall said: “Periods of economic instability, and their aftermath, are often when we see an uptick in disputes, particularly involving privately-held companies, and we can expect that to continue in the year ahead.

“FRP has a reputation for advising on some of the most complex and high-profile cases, and I am excited to be joining the team at a time when FRP’s Forensic Services are in such high demand. I look forward to working alongside my new colleagues as we work to deliver effective, independent advice and constructive solutions for our clients.”

Chris Osborne, partner and head of FRP’s Forensic Services practice, added: “Faye’s appointment comes as our forensic team is being called upon to help resolve a wide range of disputes, including providing company valuations in a multitude of contentious situations”.

“Our team has experience working on a diverse range of disputes and investigations, combining forensic accounting and technology skills. We’re delighted to be welcoming a partner of Faye’s calibre as we continue to invest to meet the growing demand for our services.”
