Evelyn Partners appoints chief risk officer

Bindesh Sajvani is a qualified accountant and worked at EY as a senior consultant in the business risk consultancy practice

Evelyn Partners has announced the appointment of Bindesh Sajvani as the firm’s new group chief risk officer, following regulatory approval. 

Sajvani joins the firm from Pendal Group, the owner of J O Hambro Capital Management, where he was the global chief risk officer. 

Prior to that role, he was also global chief risk officer for Intermediate Capital Group Plc, the UK publicly-listed alternative asset management group. 

He is a qualified accountant and worked at EY as a senior consultant in the business risk consultancy practice. His career has included senior risk and compliance roles in subsidiaries of Lloyds Bank Plc, Aviva Plc and at Aberdeen Asset Management. 

Sajvani was previously a member of the Edinburgh University audit and risk committee.
