Westcotts has announced the promotion of Veronique Walkey, director and head of professional services and Matt Melksham, director to partner.
Melksham joined Westcotts as a director earlier this year to head up its Crediton office.
He has local knowledge and experience of agricultural, pharmaceutical, professional services, renewable energy, and hospitality businesses.
Walkey initially joined Westcotts following the merger with Riley in Plymouth two years ago and advises a variety of entities and individuals across a range of industries, with a focus on corporate and legal clients.
Shona Godefroy, managing partner at Westcotts, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Veronique and Matt to the partner team. We’re thrilled that their hard work and dedication to their clients has been recognised.
“At Westcotts, we value relationships above all else, whether that’s clients or our colleagues. As part of this we’re proud to support our team’s learning, progression and ambition. These promotions mark the continued growth of the Westcotts team and we’re looking forward to supporting Veronique and Matt in their new roles.”
Walkey added: “I’m thrilled and privileged to join the Westcotts partner group of talented experts, who are forward-thinking, inspiring and engaged in the local community. I’m fortunate to have a supportive and collaborative team around me enabling me to fulfil my role. Westcotts is an exciting place to be right now and I’m very much looking forward to contributing to shaping the future of the firm as part of the leadership team.”
Westcotts has offered a wide range of sector and service specialisms supporting individuals and businesses for over 30 years.
