TC Group has continued its successful M&A strategy and boosted its operations through acquiring Baker Chapman and Bussey.

Following the move, Essex-based Baker Chapman and Bussey’s clients will be managed from TC Group’s Colchester office, and will have access to TC’s “extensive” service offering.

BCB partners Andrew Taylor and Jackie Frost said: ”We have taken time to find what we consider to be the best strategy and fit for all our clients and we are confident that the merger will enable us continue to provide high quality accountancy and advisory services to our existing clients, retaining the independent local feel, but will allow additional access to a wide array of services and depth of knowledge in this increasingly technical world of accountancy and taxation.”

TC partner Simon Garner added: “I am delighted that the Partners, Staff and Clients of Baker Chapman and Bussey are joining TC Group. They have a great reputation as high quality advisers and this union will allow this to continue into the future whilst enabling a greater range of services to be made available to their clients.

“We look forward to working with Andrew, Jackie and their team and introducing the clients to TC Group.”

WJP Brokerage Limited advised and introduced TC Group.
