Deloitte has recently added two new partners and two news directors to its real assets advisory team to further strengthen its development advisory and valuation offerings.
Michelle Kite and Hari Sothinathan join as partners with specific focus on providing strategic advice on large scale development and regeneration projects to both the public and private sectors. Jane Lees joins as a director with a focus on the alternatives market, whilst Andrew Stanford joins as a director with a focus on residential capital markets.
Kite joins as a partner with a focus on the structuring, funding, and financing of complex development projects and land transactions. Previously, she worked at Grosvenor Property where she advised on the sale of their landmark build to rent development site in Bermondsey and set up its partnership for a significant office and retail development in Mayfair.
Regarding her promotion Kite said: “I bring a unique perspective to this role with directly relevant industry experience from my time as the Commercial Director at Grosvenor. I am enthusiastic to bring my industry knowledge and experience to the wider collective team we have, as Deloitte’s real assets advisory continues to develop.”
Sothinathan joins as a partner to further grow the development advisory and transactions team nationally. Having previously been at Gerald Eve, Sothinathan is one of the UK’s leading advisors on complex development and regeneration projects.
Lees joins as a director with a particular focus on trade-related and alternative assets including hotels, healthcare and self-storage. Previously, she was an executive director at CBRE within their European Hotels business.
Stanford joins as a director to lead the residential capital markets team. He has over 30 years residential experience, including two years as head of the government’s private rented sector (PRS) taskforce responsible for kickstarting the UK Build to Rent sector.
Nigel Shilton, managing partner for real assets advisory at Deloitte, said: “Real assets advisory is at the heart of Deloitte’s real estate and infrastructure offering. Following another very successful year, we continue to grow and develop our services to address the increasingly complex needs of our clients. I am delighted to welcome Michelle, Hari, Jane and Andrew to our team.”
