Dow Schofield Watts (DSW) has announced the appointment of Max Joseph as a transaction services executive.
Joseph has joined the company from Blick Rothenberg where he spent the last four years as an assistant manager in audit and assurance.
He qualified as a chartered accountant in 2021, having previously achieved a First Class Honours degree in Economics from the University of Leeds.
At DSW Joseph will carry out financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions and other corporate deals.
Joseph said: “Dow Schofield Watts’ position as a fast-growing challenger brand and its strong reputation were key factors for me, as was the ability to move into transaction services. The role will enable me to strengthen my knowledge base, work with a range of businesses and open up new opportunities to progress my career.”
James Killing said: “The past couple of years have been an extremely busy period for us, with no let-up in activity since the summer of 2020. In particular we have seen strong demand from both private equity houses and acquisitive corporates and for our vendor due diligence services helping businesses to prepare for a sale.
“Max is the latest in a series of new additions to our team which are helping us to meet the demand.”
The London transaction services team was founded in 2018 by James Killing and Richard Hooper.
