ForrestBrown has announced two promotions in its senior team against a backdrop of strong growth across its offices in Bristol, London and Glasgow.

Director, Jenny Tragner, has now been appointed as head of policy in addition to her existing role. Having specialised in the field since 2007, Tragner has led ForrestBrown’s response to recent government consultations on reform of the incentive.

Meanwhile, Tom Jones has been promoted to director. He has more than 15 years’ experience in tax and leads a client-facing team in ForrestBrown’s R&D practice, supporting clients in preparing claims to secure the full benefit of their investment in innovation.

The announcements follow the appointment of David Byrne to lead ForrestBrown’s London office earlier this year and continued growth at ForrestBrown’s Bristol HQ and Scottish office in Glasgow.

Forrest Brown’s managing director, Sara Brigden, said: “These promotions recognise the contributions Jenny and Tom have made to ForrestBrown’s success in recent years and the key role they will both play in helping us achieve our ambition to be the adviser of choice for the UK’s most innovative businesses.

“In their new roles, Jenny and Tom will ensure clients can continue to look to ForrestBrown to protect them in an unregulated market and navigate the changing R&D tax landscape.”
