Kreston Global appoints chair of Global Internal Audit

Kreston Global has announced Doron Rozenblum as its new chair of its Global Internal Audit Group. Rozenblum is the managing partner of Kreston-Ezra Yehuda-Rozenblum, based in Israel, where he leads their Risk Advisory Services practice. He has over 25 years of experience in risk management, internal auditing, and control design and assessment, and specialises in helping organisations understand and assess risks within their operations, assessing the design of processes and controls, and providing tailored solutions to enhance internal audit effectiveness and value. In addition, he is the Vice President of The Institute of Internal Auditors in Israel. He will be working alongside Vineet Rathi, managing partner of Kreston OPR Advisors in Vadodara, India, who has been appointed technical director for the new group. Rathi is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has over 20 years of experience in the field of financial services, Transaction Advisory and Risk Assurance practice. The new group will be a part of the wider Kreston Global Audit Group, chaired by Theo Theodoulou. 2021 saw the Kreston Global network celebrating its 50th anniversary as well as undergoing its own rebrand. Rozenblum said: “Internal audit is a fast-growing area for the Kreston Global network, reflecting priorities in the international business community. With this new group we will be able to consolidate our services and make our market-leading internal audit offering available to clients wherever in the world they may be.” Rathi added: “With increased focus on corporate governance practices, the importance of having independent opinion on risk management, and on the effectiveness of internal controls, has grown exponentially. In addition, greater adoption of technology has resulted in greater expectations on internal audit teams. With this new group we hope to provide a top-flight audit offering to clients in all geographies.” Theodoulou said: “The Global Internal Audit Group will work alongside the wider Global Audit Group to develop and improve internal audit processes across the Kreston Global network, providing a valuable touchstone to all member firms engaged in this service area.”
