FRP launches Cambridge office amid partner appointment

FRP Advisory has announced the opening of a new Cambridge office and the appointment of Corporate Finance partner Dan Bowtell. With more than 20 years’ experience advising businesses on all aspects of M&A and value creation, the firm said Bowtell specialises in helping entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses to “achieve their growth ambitions”. He has led a large number of national and international mid-market transactions to successful completion, ranging in value from £2m to more than £100m. It added he focuses on supporting mid-market businesses with exit planning, equity realisation, commercial strategies, raising equity and debt finance, buyouts and accelerated M&A. This includes working across a broad range of sectors and advising on both buy-side and sell-side, in particular for deals backed by a private equity investor. Bowtell’s appointment coincides with the launch of FRP’s first office in Cambridge, which has opened at Nine Hills Road, and follows a “significant period” of growth for FRP following the acquisition of JDC Group. Over the last 12 months, it has grown its headcount by 25% in the East of England and its 20-strong team, which includes five partners and four directors, will now work across its offices in Norwich and Cambridge.
