Burgis and Bullock, a regional accountancy firm, has made nine new appointments across its Leamington and Nuneaton offices.

Seven of the new appointments have joined the firm in trainee positions, as the company continues its commitment to “developing young professionals”.

Among the recruits are Niamh Ford, Billie-Jo Kliner, Alexandra Holt and Sam Brindley – who have joined the firm as audit trainees at Burgis and  Bullock’s Leamington office.

In addition, Sam Hale has joined as accounts trainee in client services and Rishi Sharma as a graduate in the corporate tax division, both at the Leamington office.

Meanwhile, Morgan Hill has also joined the Nuneaton office as accounts trainee in client services.

The firm has also welcomed tax senior Umer Soomro to its personal tax team in Leamington and accounts senior Jenny Chrimes to the client services team at Nuneaton.

Wende Hubbard, managing partner at Burgis and Bullock, said: “We have worked around the clock throughout the pandemic to ensure our clients have been supported during this incredibly difficult period for businesses.

“This support has seen us retain existing clients and attract a significant amount of new business, putting the firm in a position to expand the teams at our Leamington and Nuneaton offices.”

She added: “We are continuing to expand our apprenticeship and trainee programme. As a company, we are committed to developing our staff and providing training opportunities for young people starting their journey in accountancy.

“The firm places great importance on professional development too and we look forward to supporting our new senior-level staff with the next stage of their careers.”
