Parsons announces three senior promotions

Parsons Chartered Accountants, a Wakefield based accountancy firm, has made three senior promotions across its tax advisory, audit and marketing divisions. 

The group has appointed Richard Walker as head of audit. Walker brings 10 years of experience in the field, and will be responsible for maintaining “high quality” audit standards, nurturing client relationships and “leading a specialist team” in servicing the “growing client base”.

Meanwhile, Jamie Kelly has been appointed as head of taxation. In his new role, he will be responsible for the firm’s tax advisory service and assist clients in navigating the “diverse taxation landscape”. 

Finally, Lisa Butterworth has been named as the group’s marketing manager. Butterworth is the firm’s first in-house marketer and is responsible for establishing a marketing strategy to promote the “expanded service portfolio” and also support the growth of the group’s client base.
