Deloitte makes raft of North West senior promotions

Deloitte has announced 18 senior promotions across its North West operation, consisting of four new partners and 14 directors.
Promoted to partners are Helen Cutting, Stephane Laffly, Dean Lonsdale, and Alan Simpson, with all four based in the group’s Manchester office.
Cutting has spent 17 years at the Big Four firm, and will now lead the group’s risk advisory practice in the region.
The remaining three promotions are intended to grow Deloitte’s consulting business across the North as it aims to create 200 additional jobs over the next three to four years.
They provide the consulting department with a combined 22 years’ experience at Deloitte, having also held positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, IBM, and Accenture.
Andy Westbrook, practice senior partner in the North West at Deloitte, said: “The investment we continue to make in the region is significant, as evidenced not only by these promotions but also by those that have happened over the past couple of years.

As for the director promotions, six have been promoted to tax directors, two in both the audit and financial advisory divisions, and four in the Deloitte consulting arm.
