MHA Macintyre Hudson Accountants has advised DPD on the acquisition of London courier company Absolutely.

The MHA Corporate Finance team led by partner and Transaction Services leader, Rob Dando alongside corporate tax partner, Chris Denning delivered specialist financial and tax due diligence services to enable DPD UK to acquire this widely-regarded courier.

Absolutely operates across London and the South East, with a fleet of circa 200 couriers servicing more than 2,500 clients.

The aim of the acquisition is to allow DPD UK to meet the rising demand for same day delivery services and to consolidate their position as a market leader in the same day delivery space.

Dando said: “A real pleasure to work again with the CitySprint and wider DPD team, in assisting with this exciting acquisition. It was also great to work with our counterparts at Freeths, on yet another transaction.”

This deal follows DPD UK’s acquisition of CitySprint in 2022 and grants Absolutely customers access to CitySprint’s UK wide same day network as well as DPD UK’s domestic next day and international expertise.
