PwC announces new risk modelling partner

Evans has over 20 years experience working in the insurance sector and is a PwC alumnus, having left the firm 14 years ago

PwC has announced that Ross Evans has been appointed as a partner in the risk modelling services business unit within the Risk line of service.

Evans has over 20 years experience working in the insurance sector and is a PwC alumnus, having left the firm 14 years ago.

Colin Cummings, actuarial life insurance leader, PwC said: “We are delighted that Ross has joined PwC as a partner. The UK life and pension sector is undergoing unprecedented change and will do so for many years to come. This is driven by a mixture of regulatory and accounting changes, coupled with the need for these long-term businesses to transform how they engage with and meet customer needs in future. Ross’ appointment will therefore help grow our Risk team at this crucial time.

“Within RMS, Ross’ focus will be to establish PwC as the go-to firm for capital management and investment advisory in the insurance sector and also build out the ESG proposition in this area with the Firm’s wider ESG team. His focus will be on our priority clients in the sector and support the Risk growth ambitions to scale insurance sector revenues over the coming three years.”
